About The Event

It's our 4th Annual Trick-or-Treat event on E15th. Run by neighborhood volunteers with the help of local nonprofits, we offer a safe and wholesome event after school for kids who often cannot celebrate Halloween in their own neighborhood. Join us in getting donations of candy and decorations, helping on the day-of, or bring your kids to walk house to house in costume!

ABOUT US 

The Greater San Antonio Neighborhood Council includes residents from the beats 19x, 18x, and 18y: From Lake Merritt, down International Blvd to the 23rd and the Embarcadero, and above San Antonio Park to 580. 

We gather bi-monthly over Zoom and occasionally in-person to discuss the needs of our neighborhoods and work with the Deputy City Administrator and other city officials to affect change.

In February 2025, the city of Oakland dissolved the Neighborhood Services Department, which organized and provided support to the Neighborhood Councils across the city. It is up to communities to carry on these organizations and continue to meet with the city to promote our needs, voice our concerns, and build safer, stronger neighborhoods.
